There are many different methods of hair removal and multitudes of hair removal products from different manufacturers. Hair removal cream remains a popular choice with men and women, primarily for the ease of use and cost effectiveness. But there are other products that can do the same work. Electrolysis products: These hair removal products are extremely effective when it comes to long lasting effects. They guarantee results for hair removal. The process involves treating the hair root with an electrical pulse, which destroys it and eliminates the possibility of rejuvenation.

On the flip side, these products are very difficult to use or master. They require specialized skills to operate and if used incorrectly, they are very ineffective in removing hairs. The process is also time consuming and can cause adverse side effects like skin burns, blisters and infections. The technology is to direct a beam of laser to the roots of the hair, in the hope that the laser particles are absorbed by the hair and in turn are used for obliteration of  hair cells. If done properly, the hair cells lose their ability of rejuvenation for a long time and the users can enjoy less hair during this time. The problem with this method is that it is very costly and repeated treatments in the same areas are required to get acceptable levels of hair reduction. They also cause side effects like skin rashes, skin burns and blisters. The duration of the treatment is also longer and requires some level of expertise in usage. Hair removal cream comparatively is cheaper, easier to use and can give immediate results. The side effects that the cream can have are allergy related and not treatment related. In fact, the side effects of creams affect only a minority of people.
